Welcome to the Irish Fireside. We created this site for anyone dreaming about a trip to Ireland. So sit back, relax and explore as we share our insight into the Emerald Isle’s most popular destinations as well as get off the tourist trail and experience the “real” Ireland.
On our website, you will find links and resources that support the topics covered in our podcasts. If you are not familiar with podcasts, think of them as Internet-based radio shows you can listen to on your computer, iPod or MP3 Player. A highspeed internet connection is recommended for downloading the podcast episodes; however, our e-newsletter can be easily downloaded with any internet connection.
In January 2009, Irish Firesiders Liam & Corey headed out on the Irish-American Roadtrip. This 40-day journey from Milwaukee to Los Angeles sought out Irish-American stories along the way. To follow the adventure, watch the videos, visit the photo albums or read the TravelBlog archives (they will appear most recent first).
