Sunburn In Ireland?

liam says…

I was outside working on the cottage all day today with my handyman Dan. Who would have thought I’d end up with a nasty sun burn in Ireland. In the morning I ran inside to find some sunblock, but couldn’t find any…then we got busy, and now I’m lobsterface.

I opted to soothe things with some Sudocrem…I’m not sure it’s meant for sunburn, but I figure if it helps with “nappy rash” it can’t do any damage to my face.

There are a lot of things that have happened in the last few days, but I’m waiting until I get into Nenagh to post those…it’s too much to post from my phone.

In the meantime, you’ll have to keep guessing what was going one with that picture of the guy with the axe below…loving the comments several of you have already left.

Between the axe man and this pic, I’m wondering if we shouldn’t start getting worried. 🙂

How could you possibly get sunburned in Ireland? You do look like hell – but I mean that in the most sincere way!

    Hey there!
Blue Mountain Press, an international publishing company, is looking for inspirational stories and wisdom that relate to Ireland or the Irish culture to be published in an anthology. We are interested in non-fiction essays, stories, or poems that in some way capture the Irish (or Irish-American) heritage, region, or lifestyle.

If you are interested in posting this call for submissions or if you’d like to pass this along to any Irish writers you know, I can send you the writer’s guidelines.

    Many thanks!

P.S. Your sunburn looks as though you were under a South Texas sun!
