Corey says…We made it safe and sound over the Rockie Mountains. Vail Pass was snowy and a bit scary, but not too bad for driving…Well, I suppose I should ask Liam that one.

We are on our way to Denver now. Just stopped at an interesting store…pictured above. Love the old ski gondolas.

If you haven’t left Denver yet there’s a nice pub downtown by Coors Field called Fado. The thing I remember most about the place other than it’s authenticity, especially inside, was the place mats. There were several different Irish writers like Joyce, Yeats, Kavanagh, Wilde, and Brendan Behan, amoung others with their most notable and often humorous quotes on the mats.
Thought of you guys last night when I had my first taste of a “potcheen cocktail” using Liam’s recipe. It won’t be my last – quite good. Drive safe. Slan, Jim
