A Great Way to Start

Session at Kieran’s, originally uploaded by IrishFireside.

corey says…I have to say, Minneapolis almost didn’t make the cut for our trip – it was just a bit too far out of the way. Fortunately, we didn’t let logic guide us!

Last night was an absolute joy. There was a talented group of musicians who braved the unbelievable cold (-11F before factoring for windchill). The session was casual…with wonderful bouts of conversation between sets. It’s the type of group where if you have a song, you’d be welcomed to sing it…and then probably asked to sing some more.

We had such a wonderful welcome. THANK YOU MINNEAPOLIS…especially Brian Miller, Kate Dowling, Nathan Gourley, Nora Rendell, Tom Klein, Maggie McEneny, and Mike Lynch among others. There’s a session on every Wednesday at Kieran’s Irish Pub downtown, so give it a go.

Be sure to check out the musical group Two Tap Trio when you’re in the area and visit:

Tonight we’ll be at www.keeganspub.com among other places.
