Mossy Rocks & Healing Priests

Mossy Rocks, originally uploaded by IrishFireside.

liam says…After our long day yesterday, we stayed close to home today. This included a walk along the paths at Clare Glens which are on the Limerick/Tipp border. The wooded path is gorgeous with waterfalls and moss-covered rocks.

We also stopped at the Kilcommon Prayer Garden. This is a wonderful local effort to beautify the church and provide a peaceful destination for the many pilgrims who visit here to be near the graves of the two healing priests in the cemetery.

We also had a fantastic Chinese buffet dinner at the Jasmine Palace in Limerick. Mmmmmm. Then it was off to the Limerick City Gallery…which has several very nice works.

MORE PHOTOS from the past few days.

    Liam,

How do you take these beautiful & mysterious pictures?? It can’t be done by iPhone… Do you put it in a special setting? It looks like a scene from Lord of the Rings.

corey says…These are exactly how they are coming out of Liam’s iPhone. Weird, huh? I asked him if he has some schmutz on the lens because they all have this strange glow. He has no idea how it is doing it. They didn’t seem to come out that way before. It’s a mystery.
