corey says… I’ve just added another item to my itinerary for this summer… next visit to Dublin, I’m definitely checking out the Irish Folk Tours. The trip to Ireland’s past takes place at the Brazen Head, Dublin’s oldest pub, and includes dinner, history and folklore.

Confession time… food… history… folklore… in an old pub! I absolutely can’t resist! The experience gets great reviews, and I’m looking forword to checking it out for myself.

Speaking of Ireland’s old ways, I’m reminiscing about the great trip we had to the Doagh Famine Village on the Inishowen Peninsula up in County Donegal. You can read our trip report from that visit at www.irishfireside.wordpress.com/2006/07/27/trip-report-inishowen-peninsula/ or listen to our Inishowen podcast at www.irishfireside.com/10inishowen.htm.
