An Outdoor Meal

corey says…After we were home from our hike for a bit, Tony and I headed in to town to pick up a few things. When we returned, Tony’s neighbor Jimmy stopped up with his dog Max. Max has made a point to mark his territory every time he enters Tony’s cottage. Fortunately, the floor is old slate and cleans up easily.

Jimmy had been taking advantage of the wonderful weather and had been trimming some of the tall grass behind Tony’s cottage. He invited the two of us down for dinner with his wife Kathleen.

Oh what a wonderful dinner! The evening was perfect, and we ate outside. I have to say, I’ve never had an experience quite like this in Ireland before. There we were sitting on patio furniture, drinking wine and having a grand time.

That night, Tony brushed a bit of the paint he bought in town today. He’s trying to find just the right color for his kitchen, and then we went to bed quite tired.
