Traditional Music – NenaghTraditional Music – Nenagh

Corey says… We arrived in Nenagh at about 10pm and caught the start of the traditional music session in Rohan’s Pub. The place is a bit of blast from the past. It still has a small grocery in the front and several elements that have been added from every decade since.

The room the session was held was quite small, but we were there early enough to grab stools at the bar. I bought the first round and drank the rest of the night on rounds from the rest of the group.

We were joined by several familiar faces…all music lovers of course. I finally met a friend of Theresa’s named Sheila. Unfortunately, our friend Kathleen was sick this evening, so she couldn’t join us. She must have been quite ill if she missed this session.

Liam sang and Tony played his fiddle, and all in all, it was wonderful session. I believe we found our way back to the car at about 1am.
