A travel question for Corey, Liam and all listeners:

I’ll be going from Doolin to Dingle during my trip. Is there a shorter way than back through the Shannon area and around the river? I did see some map that seemed to suggest that there might be a ferry across the Shannon, perhaps near the Kilrush area.

    Thanks for all your help!

There is a ferry that cuts across the Shannon. It is shorter and reduces the chances of hitting traffic in Limerick. It goes from Tarbert to Killimer. You can get more info from their website at http://www.shannonferries.com/.

If you’d like to get some more imput, a lot of our listeners hang out at the http://www.irelandyes.com message board. Michele offers great advice and she’s got a good group of people who offer their insight.
